This green tea is beautifully fresh with spicy ginger, a dash of sweet maple syrup and freshly squeezed lime juice on serving - a perfect mix of lively flavours to wake up the senses.
Boil the ginger slices in the water for 10 minutes. Turn off the heat and leave for 2 minutes.
500 ml water, 30 g fresh ginger
Transfer the water and ginger slices to a teapot along with the green tea bags and maple syrup. Brew for 3 minutes.
2 green tea bags, 20 g maple syrup
Pour into two cups and squeeze the juice of 1/2 a lime over each cup on serving.
