Strawberries and Cream Milkshake

This creamy, thick, I-cant-believe-its-vegan strawberry milkshake, was inspired by Cape Fruit in Sal, Cape Verde.  

The combination of ingredients make it a winning dupe for a strawberry milkshake – no one will ever know its vegan… or healthy! #winner

With frozen banana and strawberries for a thick and creamy shake, lightly sweetened with maple syrup and vanilla. To add creaminess to this delicious fruity shake, a combination of dairy free milk and yoghurt is used. Add all of these delicious and healthy ingredients to a blender, blitz until smooth and enjoy!

A thick and creamy I-can’t-believe-its-vegan milkshake, with sweet strawberries and a sprinkling of coconut. Healthy, filling and delicious!

Ingredients
  

  • 1 frozen banana (approx 120g)
  • 200 g fresh strawberries
  • 2 tbsp maple syrup
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 125 g dairy free yoghurt
  • 250 ml dairy free milk

  • Vitamix High Power Blender

Instructions
 

  • Pop everything in your blender (except the desiccated coconut) and blend it up until smooth.
    1 frozen banana, 200 g fresh strawberries, 2 tbsp maple syrup, 1 tsp vanilla, 125 g dairy free yoghurt, 250 ml dairy free milk
  • Sprinkle the top of the milkshake with desiccated coconut on serving.
    1 tbsp desiccated coconut
